periASTY will participate in the upcoming Transport Research Arena (TRA) 2026, Europe’s flagship event on transport research, which will be held in Budapest from 18 to 21 May 2026. Co-organised by the European Commission alongside key transport organisations, the event will bring together expertise from Hungary, Europe, and beyond, focusing on innovation and transformation in transport under the theme ReGeneration in transport.
The conference is expected to attract over 3,000 participants, offering a platform to exchange views on pressing mobility challenges, recent research results, and future directions for the transport sector. TRA 2026 will foster dialogue and cooperation between European and international research and innovation communities.
periASTY will be represented in Special session 27: Pathway to CCAM deployment in EU, on Wednesday 20 May from 16:00 to 17:30. Matthieu Graindorge (Gemeente Helmond) will present plans for implementing an on-demand automated public transport service within the periASTY project.
More information on the programme and registration can be found on the TRA website.
